Every Parent and Grandparent should read this
We have all heard of too many tragic cases where someone's child got injured or unfortunately died because they did not wear a seat belt.
According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in 2020, 607 child passengers ages 12 and younger were killed in motor vehicle crashes in the United States, and more than 63,000 were injured. Of the children who were killed in a crash, 38% were not buckled up.
According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2019, there were 961 child passenger fatalities in motor vehicle crashes in the United States, and almost half (47%) of those killed were not restrained at the time of the crash.
It is not easy to ensure that children always are buckled up when they travel in your vehicle, your friend's, grandparents', or caregiver's vehicle. The child must be given the proper overall education and support from a young age to instill the importance of buckling up; it will last a lifetime.
Our Mission is to educate every child to buckle up
